In response to proposed corrective action by NITAAC, GAO has dismissed 117 protests of companies that were rejected in the CIO-SP4 Phase 1 downselect.
In response to proposed corrective action by the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center ("NITAAC"), GAO dismissed 117 protests involving the CIO-SP4 procurement. Those 117 protesters were eliminated during the downselect process. NITAAC plans to take the following corrective action, "1. Reassess the self-scoring cut-off line; and 2. Make a new determination on the highest rated offerors that proceed to Phase 2 of the procurement." In addition, NITAAC plans to correct any other errors or deficiencies it discovers during its implementation of the corrective action. NITAAC will then issue new determinations identifying the highest rated offerors.
NITAAC did not specify when it anticipated implementing the corrective action, or how long the reassessment will take. And so, the CIO-SP4 saga continues.
